1. Generator Technician

Desirable Requirements For BHC Recruitment 2024

Qualifications, skills and experience required are:

1. B.Sc. / HND Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. Service Engineer capable of working on generators up to 500KVA.
3. Minimum of 5 years experience in fault-finding   and servicing of diesel engines and generators.
4. Professionally trained in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Electronics systems, Electromechanical / Mechatronic Engineering.
5. Experience working with automatic refuelling systems.
6. At least an expert knowledge of FG Wilson / CAT Generators especially; 2X06 Electronics Engines, 6000 Series control system, Analogue Control system, ATi/CTi Changeover system, Leroy Somer / Caterpillar / FG Wilson Alternators, Power Wizards Control System, EasyGen Control System and Deep Sea Control System.
7. Understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations
8. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills
9. Familiar with Health and Safety Policy Documentation
10. Relevant certificates or qualifications.
11. Good organisational and IT skills
12. Proficient with computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook etc.
