The South African Construction Industry Development Board mandate to establish a national register of contractors and construction projects to systematically regulate, monitor and promote the performance of the industry for sustainable growth, delivery and empowerment.

Furthermore, promoting improved delivery management capacity and the uniform application of procurement policy throughout all spheres of government; promoting improved performance and best practice of public and private sector clients, contractors and other participants in the construction delivery process.

Requirements for the Managerial Position

The following are the requirements for the Manager position for CIDB recruitment 2024:

  1. Candidates must possess a Minimum qualification in law or commerce (NQF 7) or relevant qualification
  2. Candidates must possess 6 to 8 years’ experience registration services, customer service and regulation legislation. Minimum of 2 years in similar environment at managerial level.
  3. KPA 1: Management and improvement of the Registration Service.
  4. KPA 2: Development of monitoring and reporting systems for the Registration Service programme.
  5. KPA 3: Stakeholder Management.
  6. KPA 4: Operational Planning.
  7. KPA 5: Risk and Financial Management.
  8. KPA 6: People Management.

Requirements for the Director Position

The following are the requirements for the Director position for CIDB recruitment 2024:

  1. The applications must possess Bachelor’s (NQF7) in Business or Public Administration or relevant field. Post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
  2. Applicants must have at least 5 years’ experience in Management. (8) years’ relevant experience.
