The authorities of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has mentioned that there will be a training exercise for shortlisted candidates where all candidates who were successful in the just concluded screening exercise have to turn up for physical training. The training will take up to 2 weeks.
The aim of the training is to educate the newly recruited officers on self defence and also have an in-depth knowledge of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
NSCDC Training Date 2024
Yes, NSCDC has announced the official date for the 2024 training exercise. The training exercise will commence on 25th October 2024 in the 36 States of the federation and FCT.
However, shortlisted candidates have also been assigned Invitation Letters and are requested to report to the centers at the times indicated against their names to sit for the training.

NSCDC Training Centres 2024
The centres include the NSCDC Zonal Command Headquarters Kaduna, Games Village in Bauchi, Federal University Lafia in Nasarawa State, NSCDC Training School in Oji River, Enugu State, Civil Defence College of Security Management in Abeokuta, and NABTEB in Benin, Edo State.

Required Documents & Materials
Candidates are requested to come with the following to the training camp:
- Two Recent Passports Photographs with your name boldly written at the back
- One white coloured office flat file jacket
- Birth certificate/declaration of age
- Duly completed guarantor’s form
- Certificate of origin
- Educational qualifications
Candidates who fail to appear at the training camp will automatically be disqualified.
