The Competition Commission is responsible for investigating anti-competitive conduct in contravention of the Chapter 2 of the Act; assessing the impact of mergers and acquisitions on competition and taking appropriate action.

Requirements for CompCom Recruitment 2024

Junior Analyst

  1. An Honours Degree in Economics or a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree.
  2. MUST have at least 2 years’ experience of which 1 year MUST be in economic regulation and/or competition.

Skills: Professionalism, Employee Welfare, Teamwork, Efficiency, Strategic Thinker, Visionary, Interpersonal skills, Leadership skills, Management skills.

Human Capital Business Partner

  1. Candidates must have completed 3 years ND (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field of study. Candidates in the process of completing the aforementioned qualifications will also be considered.
  2. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree will be advantageous.
  3. At least 3 to 5 years’ proven experience as HR Generalist or Consultant, Administrator or other HR position is required for this role
  4. Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, talent acquisition, training & development etc.)
  5. An understanding of, and insight into, the BCEA, LRA, OHS, EE and POPI Acts
  6. Knowledge of computer applications
  7. Knowledge of HRMS and Psychometric assessment experience are an added advantage Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
