Requirements for CSIR Recruitment 2024

To be appointed to the job position, application are to vividly meet the requirements needed for the job appointment which are the below:

  1. Applicants must hold a PhD Degree or equivalent qualification in Agricultural or Biological Sciences from a recognised university or institution
  2. Applicants must have not less than 12 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D), including at least 5 years of successful experience in a management position
  3. Applicants must not be more than 55 years old
  4. Distinguished research contribution as evidenced by scientific publications. The research output should be adjusted to be at least equivalent to that of a Principal Research for national development
  5. Candidates must have good knowledge of the agencies in the relevant sectors, as well as the ability to interact with top management in other institutions and agencies
  6. Applicants must be able and proven to inspire research staff and supporting personnel
  7. Applicants must be able to generate and attract funding, both internally and externally to support research activities.
  8. Ability to translate policy decisions into actionable programmes and good interpersonal relations
