- Ability to be creative, ideate and work through ambiguity and use unconstrained thinking.
- Graduate or equivalent or member of professional bodies e.g. CIPS / IEMA.
- 6 Sigma / Lean project skills highly desirable
- Knowledge / use of Planview (for resourcing project requests) and Salesforce for resource and value delivery.
- Significant procurement & sustainable procurement experience preferably direct supply categories, indirects & marketing.
- Excellent data, analytics, and insight skills.
- Excellent understanding of the category management process.
- Demonstrated performance when both leading and working on programs with global cross-functional teams, experience in implementing programs aligned to category and Procurement strategies.
- Experienced negotiator & influencer, capable of delivering great outcomes when managing high value & complex programs.
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, manufacturing excellence and material supply chains desirable.
- Strong analytical and financial awareness including an understanding of Total Cost of Ownership and end to end value delivery. Use of advanced data and analytics (cost modelling & projection) to drive best in class strategies and negotiation plans beneficial.
- Ability in leading Supplier Collaboration/Supplier Relationship Management programmes desirable.
