JAMB 2024 Commencement Date
JAMB form sale started on February 19th, 2023Â as announced by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), calling for registration of interested students for its 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME and Direct entry.
It is important to get started with the registration procedures immediately so that you’ll be sure to get posted to your preferred Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre, as it is usually late registration that causes candidates to be sent to far away centers.
JAMB Form 2024 Price
The official cost of the JAMB form 2023 as announced by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) is Three thousand, five hundred naira, only. N3,500.
This, however, does not mean that N3,500 is all you’ll spend to purchase your JAMB form, get your thumbprinting done and get the recommended text.
You’ll be required to pay an extra Seven hundred naira (N700) as CBT center charges and another Five hundred naira (N500) for the literature text recommended by JAMB.
That’s Four thousand, seven hundred naira (N4,700) only in total.
How to Register for JAMB 2024
Note that you can no longer buy your JAMB forms at just any cyber cafe, but only at JAMB accredited CBT centers.
To avoid getting scammed and cheated of your money, it is important to check out the list of JAMB accredited CBT centers and find the one closest to you before going there to pay any dime.
When registering, provide your correct details and try not to confuse where you live with where you’d like to take the exams.
JAMB 2024 Registration Requirements
1. National Identification Number (NIN) is now a compulsory requirement for JAMB registration, this means without your NIN, you are ineligible to register for the JAMB examination.
So, if you’re interested in registering for JAMB exams, you need to go and enroll for your National Identification Number before going to register.
2. Before now you should have written your WAEC examinations already, and are at least expecting your results.
3. You MUST be at least sixteen years old as at the time of the registration.
4. Ensure you have an active email address and phone number that you have access to at all times and complete control of, as information regarding the entire process will be communicated to you via those.
5. Ensure to supply correct details only. All you need to do is show up at the registration center with all your details like DOB, state of origin, preferred institutions and courses of study, etc, get registered and do your thumbprinting.
Get your e-slip and recommended literature text on time, and study exhaustively before the exam. Ensure to be at your examination center at least an hour or two before the examination to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.
