The Judicial Service Commission is a Constitutional body established under Article 146 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995, whose mandate is to recruit judicial officers and regulate their conduct.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible to the immediate supervisor in performing the following key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Registering cases.
  2. Opening case files
  3. Interpreting court proceedings.
  4. Maintaining and updating case files
  5. Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor

Qualifications for JSC Recruitment 2024

To be suitably qualified for JSC Recruitment 2024, you must satisfy the qualifications needed just as stated below:

  1. Applicants mustΒ  be Ugandans holding a Diploma in Law from accredited University or Institution.
  2. Applicants are required to have demonstrable digital skills

Applications must be prepared on Judicial Service Commission Form No.2 of 2024 and submitted online to the Secretary Judicial Service Commission (JSC). 

The application must be in a single pdf document to the application email provided for the position. Applicants should attach on a duly completed Form and in the order provided herewith the following:

  1. A copy of National ID.
  2. A passport size photograph.
  3. Copies of O’ level and A’ level and Diploma in Law certificates and transcripts certified by the issuing Institution.
