Since 2006 Lesedi has diversified into a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company supporting Eskom with its new build programme and covering other energy related infrastructure projects.

Also, Lesedi Nuclear Services has extensive experience in the execution of turnkey engineering projects in the nuclear and non-nuclear industries, notably at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station and the Medupi Coal Power Station.

The following consists of qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills required for the vacant positions at Lesedi Nuclear Services:

Qualification:  

1. B.Sc or B.Eng in similar field
2. Professional certification

Experience:

1. Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience,
2. minimum of 5 years in the EPC industry.

Knowledge:

1. Structural codes and standards of similar field
2. OHS Act and it Regulations and how it applies to the Mechanical Disciplines
3. Principles of ISO, ASME-NQA-1 and IAEA quality systems
4. Nuclear standards and codes
5. Lesedi Integrated Management System (IMS)

Skills:

1. Problem-solving and decision-making
2. Change management
3. Strategic thinking and planning
4. Quality assurance and compliance
5. Technical design and review
6. Contract negotiation
