The following positions are for recruitment:

2. Director: Financial Intelligence Centre

Eligibility Criteria For National Treasury Recruitment 2024

Audit Committee Member

1. Hold a Chartered Accountant (SAICA) or Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) or Certified Internal Auditor (IIA) or Registered Government Auditor (SAIGA) designation.
2. Be in possession of a NQF level 8
   qualification in Accounting or Internal Auditing or Auditing or Risk Management. 
3. Have experience in a senior management and/or oversight role. Have experience and/or knowledge on Corporate Governance in the Public Sector.
4. Experience and/or knowledge in the field of Internal Auditing.
5. Experience and/or knowledge in the field of Public Sector Accounting. 
6. Experience and/or knowledge in Compliance Management. 
7. Audit Committee and have experience in serving on Audit Committees.

Director: Financial Intelligence Centre

1. A relevant postgraduate degree (NQF Level 8) in Economics, Banking, Auditing, Commerce, Law, Data or Forensic Analytics or related qualification recognized by SAQA
2. 10 years senior management experience, of which 5 years must be at an executive level
3. The role, purpose and functioning of financial intelligence units or related units;
4. FIC Act and its Regulations and related legislation;
5. Experience working in or with banks and other financial institutions to monitor financial transactions
