The National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U) is an autonomous statutory body established under the NITA-U Act 2009.
The Authority is under the general supervision of the Ministry of Information Communications Technology and National Guidance (MOICT&NG).
The Uganda organization was established with a mandate to coordinate, promote and monitor the development of IT in the context of social and economic development of Uganda.

Requirements for NITA-U Recruitment 2024
The following are the requirements for NITA-U Recruitment 2024 based on the vacant positions advertised:
Temporary Risk Analyst
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information Security or a related field from a recognized university
- At least 1 year of working experience in Information Security roles or in a field related to risk management.
- Candidates must have the working knowledge of global information security frameworks and standards
- Knowledge of Information Security
- Knowledge of Risk Management
Management Trainee
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or Similar.
- Applicants must possess at least a year of working experience in an IT role.
- Experience in Data Centers, Cloud, Linux Servers, Windows Server, and Virtualization Administration is an added advantage.
