NRC is recruiting to fill the open positions below:

1. ICLA Officer
2. Protection from Violence Officer
3. Humanitarian Access Officer

Minimum Criteria For NRC Recruitment 2024

ICLA Officer:

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience from practice as a lawyer. Experience from working in the field of humanitarian assistance is an advantage.
2. Must possess a Bachelor of Laws degree and must have been called to the Nigerian Bar (be able to practice as a lawyer in Nigeria) and be conversant with international humanitarian and Human Rights law.
3. Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – in English required. 
4. Fluency in one or more of the national/regional languages (Hausa and Kanuri preferred)

Protection from Violence Officer:

1. University Degree in a relevant discipline (Law, Political Science, Social Science, Psychology, or any other relevant education profile)
2. Experience working in a protection role in emergency or protracted crisis settings.
3. Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
4. Proficiency in English and Hausa.

Humanitarian Access Officer:

1. Significant experience in humanitarian operations
2. 1 to 3 years of experience within a similar function with INGOs, the UN, government or private sector.
3. University degree in Social Studies, Public Administration, Conflict Resolution and peacebuilding, Security  Management, Humanitarian and Refugee Affairs, and Disaster Risk Management.
