Qualifications for SANBI Recruitment 2024
The following are the qualifications and requirements needed for the 2024 recruitment of SANBI prospective candidates for the now available positions:
Assistant Director: Asset Management 1
- This position requires a degree in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, or equivalent qualification at NQF 7. A relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent degree at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. This position also requires 6 years of work experience in asset management, 3 years of which should be in supervisory position(s).
- Candidates must possess the following competencies; extensive knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures, processes, practices, systems, and frameworks related to supply chain management is essential; in-depth knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Asset Management Framework, Generally Recognised Accounting Practice is essential; knowledge of Sage and Asset Management Systems some experience in customer service would be an advantage, financial report writing, advanced planning, organizing, and problem solving skills; excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; excellent computer literacy and experience in the application of software tools including (Ms Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet and Outlook) is essential. The possession of a valid driver’s licence (minimum B) with at least one-year practical driving experience and a willingness to travel is essential.
- Candidates must manage the total life cycle of assets within SANBI
- Candidates must manage assets management unit’s team and staff performance members
- Candidates must assist in human capital development, change management and transformation.
Assistant Director: Administration and Support 1
- Candidates must possess a degree in business administration, management or equivalent qualification at NQF 7. A relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent degree at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. This position also requires 6 years of work experience in the relevant field, 3 years of which should be in supervisory position(s).
- Candidates must posses the following competencies; comprehensive knowledge of human resources, supply chain management, financial management, occupational health and safety, audit and risk within the context of a public entity, excellent knowledge and experience in the management of organisational finance, project management and financial report writing; advanced planning, organizing, problem solving, and interpersonal skills; excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills; excellent computer literacy and experience in the application of software tools including (Ms Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet and Outlook) is essential. The possession of a valid driver’s licence (minimum B) with at least one-year practical driving experience and a willingness to travel is essential.
- Candidates must provide administration services for the unit.
- Candidates must ensure effective and efficient financial management for the unit.
- Candidates must ensure effective occupational health and safety services for the unit.
