Key Qualifications For UNOCHA Recruitment 2024

ICT Associate:

1. Secondary Education. A University Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is an added advantage, but it is not a requirement.
2. Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNE) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are required. If certification is not available at the time of recruitment, it should be obtained within 6 months.
3. Seven (7) years of relevant working experience (with High school education), or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) including network administration, management of hardware and software platforms, telecommunications facilities, and knowledge of Windows-based packages/applications.
4. Experience working in the UN/international system and computer proficiency, including a working knowledge of e-mail and MS Office products, are desirable. 

Administration and Finance Officer:

1. An Advanced University Degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Business or Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field is required. OR
2. A First-level University Degree in combination with additional seven (7) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
3. A minimum of 5 years with a Master’s degree and/or 7 Years with a Bachelor’s degree of progressively responsible experience in administration, finance, accounting, human resources management or a related field is required.
4. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the field (actual setting where a mission and/or project is being implemented) in emergency situations (complex emergency or natural disaster) is desirable.
