Requirements for EDC Recruitment 2024

The following are the required qualifications needed for the 2024 recruitment of Education Development Centre (EDC):

1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in education, early grade reading, literacy and language instruction, curriculum development, or related field.
2. Candidates must possess 5 to 6 years of progressively responsible and directly relevant experience.
3. Candidates must have an experience as a primary school classroom teacher and experience in providing CBC-aligned language and literacy instruction and coaching.
4. Candidates must have an experience in the design of effective, inclusive curriculum, materials, and instructional approaches in multilingual and transitional early grade literacy learning contexts.
5. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively design and deliver training content related to primary grade language and literacy instruction.
6. Candidates must have an experience in planning and implementing school-based learning remediation.
7. Candidates must have experience in using technology to support instruction and learning, and/or instructional leadership development desired.
8. Candidates must have the capacity to work in difficult conditions and function well under pressure and hard deadlines.
9. Candidates must possess the ability to multitask.
10. Candidates must possess experience in collaboratively designing and delivering capacity building with education sector counterparts and stakeholders.
