Kenya Forest Service is a State Corporation established under the Forest Conservation and Management Act no 34 of 2016. Among the responsibilities of the Kenya Forest Service are to: Own, manage and protect all state forests. Promote forestry education and training and operate the Kenya Forestry College. Enforce the conditions and regulations pertaining to logging, charcoal making and other forest utilization activities.

Job Requirements
It is important that interested applicants must fulfill the set job criteria. Below are entry requirements for the KFS recruitment:
- Valid Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) (or Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL))
- 20/20 vision (or correctable to 20/20)
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- Relevant aircraft type rating
- Valid and current instrument rating for fixed wing pilot. This would be an added advantage for rotor pilots
- A minimum of 250 hours
- Gas turbine proficiency
- Performance A proficiency
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Sound Knowledge on Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations
- Proficiency in Computer applications
- Fulfils the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
