World Service is the internationally recognized Humanitarian and Development agency of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and provides humanitarian aid and assists in rehabilitation and development work in more than 30 countries.The program is assisting refugees and displaced persons and host communities impacted by and interacting with refugees.

LWF Kenya works in refugee camps in Kenya (Dadaab, Kakuma). The organization works in Turkana County in Kenya and in Kismayo Town in Somalia. Their assistance is mainly focused on Education, Child Protection, Community Services, Sustainable Livelihoods, Community Peace and Person with Specific Needs.

Job Requirements For LWF Recruitment 2024

The following are the qualifications, experience and general requirements for LWF recruitment:

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a course related to your preferred position
2. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in similar field
3. Have a registered/valid certificate in the field

Experience:

1. Ability to manage and use e-learning/digital devices for teaching and learning, prepare and upload learner content on devices, data collection and analysis
2. Experience of working in refugee schools or with refugee community in the camp or urban set up.
3. High level of integrity, commitment and professional responsibility.
4. Ability to tolerate cultural, educational and religious diversity in the work place.
5. Good analytical and problem solving skills
