General Criteria For OPEC Fund Recruitment 2024

The general requirements for the recruitment is stated here:

Board Secretariat Officer:

1. Master’s Degree in Business Administration,  Law, or another related field. A Bachelor’s Degree plus an additional two years’ of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree
2. Minimum of five (5) years relevant professional experience with a Masters’ degree or seven (7) years relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree
3. Relevant professional certifications, e.g. Certified Corporate Governance Officer
4. Fluent in English. Good working knowledge of Arabic, French or Spanish is an added advantage

Head, OPEC Fund Board Secretariat:

1. Master’s Degree in in Law, Business Administration, or other related fields.
2. A minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience is required, preferably five years of which should have been in an international development finance institution.
3. Fluent in English.

Paralegal:

1. Master’s Degree in Law or a related field or Bachelor’s Degree in law or a related field with an additional two years of experience 
2. A minimum of two years (with Master’s) or four years (with Bachelor’s) of relevant experience.
3. A minimum of 1 year experience at an international development finance institution 
4. Fluent in English. Good working knowledge of Arabic, French or Spanish is an added advantage.

Driver / Service Staff:

1. A Secondary School leaving certificate
2. A valid driving license of minimum type B.
3. A minimum of five (5) years driving experience, with excellent record either as a taxi, bus or coach driver, or as a tour guide in Vienna and its surroundings.
4. A minimum of two (2) years as support staff dealing with event preparations, movement of fixtures.
5. Experience in driving high ranking diplomatic officials is a compulsory requirement.
6. Fluent in English. Good working knowledge of German, Arabic, French or Spanish is an added advantage.
